About Me

CHAPIES: Cozumel Island, Mexico, United States; My spirit came to this world on a small island off the Eastern coast of the Yucatan Peninsula in Southern Mexico in the form of a human female child with a heart beating Mayan & Spanish blood. There the water is warm and clear, the beaches are white sand with palm trees, and the reefs are full of colorful coral and hundreds of species of tropical fish. Such a world away from the tall trees and cool climate of the Pacific Northwest, where my adventure in art and painting began.
